History

fULLMOON bONGZAI was born through red clouds and holocaust winds in Patras, Greece around 2007 with the intension of stretching the limits of black metal noise.

Fullmoon Bongzai is an ever changing experiment with the subconscious, presented as an act of poetry, of rebellion, driven by an intense allergy to conventional expressions and beliefs and motivated by the need of expressing the inward form and affinity between different musical genres.

The first act Noisense (2008) balances between psychedelic industrial black metal and algorhythmic noise, with respect to the spirit that Darkthrone carved in everyone’s soul.

In this release, no actual vocals were used (except three songs with the participation of Stefan from Varathron), but vocal samples were stolen from Diamanda Gallas, Screaming Jay Hawkins, Timothy Leary, Willie Dixon, Stellakis Perpiniadis and Thokk. Get ready for a voodoo beach party, celebrating the unholy....

In search for a more straightforward approach due to social and political conditions, "All that you deserve" was realized in 2012. A more structured work that was created with the hope that it would be played live on stage, delivering punk 'n' black sensations.
Actual vocals this time by Serpent (Enshadowed, Dead elephant etc) and Minaras (Cut yout throat, March into the void, etc).

Reshaping The Symbols (2017) is the third album by Fullmoon Bongzai, the result of a futile effort to be detached from form, brute force (with apparently no results). Reshaping and manipulating symbols regarding black metal aesthetics for the sake of its own destruction. Black Noise Rituals!
